Jake Blanchard is a third-generation business owner who got his start helping his father and grandfather. Jake spent his summers, beginning at 8 years old, helping with the family roofing and construction business that his grandfather started in the 1950s. He has decades of experience in residential and commercial roofing and construction, including 8 years in construction management for deep-water oil/gas projects.

Jake takes immense pride in completing quality projects for all customers. He and his team consider each client family and work tirelessly to make sure every job meets their high standards. Jake especially loves remodeling historic properties from the roof all the way down to the final inspection.

He was born and raised in Lafourche parish and now lives in Iberia parish with his wife, Sarah, and son Jaxson, who is also learning the ropes of the family business. Jake is an advocate for locally owned and operated businesses and believes in business owners supporting each other and the community. He also believes our Cajun heritage and values should be passed on to the next generation of future business owners and community leaders. It’s that tradition of family and hard work that has made LA Classic Roofing the successful business that it is today.
